The Courage to Grow

How ZOLLER Entered International Markets

Rooted in Swabian values — practical, grounded, and proudly regional — ZOLLER remains deeply connected to its origins, even 80 years after its founding. While we've stayed true to our roots as a family-run business, our global expansion is what transformed ZOLLER into a technology leader, now active in 85 locations across 62 countries.

Internationalization

Just a few years after starting his workshop, Alfred Zoller took on his first international orders from a customer in Switzerland. Strategic global expansion came later, and fittingly, Switzerland was one of the first international branches. At the end of the 1980s, foreign business had become a key contributor to ZOLLER's growth. Within a decade, ZOLLER became the market leader in Austria.

The Major Markets: USA, China, India

In 1997, Christoph Zoller founded the US subsidiary ZOLLER Inc. His brother Alexander joined him in the US in 2002. Two years later, Christoph Zoller led our expansion into Asia, launching offices in Pune, India and Shanghai, China. Fast forward 16 years: ZOLLER moved into a new, custom-built facility in China. Today, around 400 employees work across our worldwide branches.
